Do you seek a life centered on Jesus?
Do you seek to explore and live his Way of Love?
These questions set the theme for this year’s parish weekend. As a community we will explore ways, if yes is our answer, to become more loving in our daily lives, revealing Jesus‘ Way of Love.
In early July Presiding Bishop Michael Curry offered the national church an invitation to learn of seven daily practices that can bring renewed energy to our individual and parish life: Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, Rest and Turn.
At the heart of our annual parish weekend is desire to get to know one another better so as to discover the fruits of building true community. We also seek to enjoy our diversity in all its shapes and forms, and share our stories.
The parish weekend is one in which we eat, pray, eat, dance, discuss, play, swim (did I say and eat) together. The format is a mixture of larger gathering sessions and small workshops. Saturday afternoon is completely yours.
