Combining art and nature in a new way, the Atlanta Botanical Garden invites us to delight in unexpected experiences in The Curious Garden. Please join the St. Bartholomew’s curious adult group as we carpool to the garden on Thursday, May 25, 2017. The exhibit features 11 site-specific installations prompting visitors to make a discovery, ask questions provoke a discussion, and have conversations with each other. Bold materials are used to direct the eye to focus on the simple beauty of nature. There will also be a new room with a view, the Skyline Garden where you will have the best views of the city from the Robinson Gazebo.
Admission to the garden is $21.95 for non-members and free for members. We will meet in the parish hall at 10:30 a.m. and use the fewest cars necessary to drive to the Garden. There is a new restaurant on-site, the Longleaf, where you may choose to have lunch or bring your own brown-bag lunch. We will return to St. Bart’s at 2 p.m.
This outing is sponsored by the Pastoral Care Committee. For more information, please contact Marsha Bond at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 404 290 1987.
