Sabbatical Blessing for Our Rector
O God, who calls us to balance in our work, prayer and rest.
Be with Mac as he journeys into his Sabbath time. Meet him in
the strangers who will be his companions and the teachers who
will be his guides. Fill the space between us with your
Presence. Bless us who remain, and help us to be faithful in our
ministries and summer rest. Keep us free from all anxiety,
putting our trust in you, and bring us all home again, in safety
and peace. + May the blessing of God our Father and our Mother,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, be upon you; may it lead
to your deep rest and renewal, and a heart that is clearly
singing. AMEN
