Meets monthly at 9:20 a.m. in Warden's Hall

Young Adults in the Church (YAC) nurtures the individual gifts and passions of young people. Youth delve deeper into Bible study, debate complex theological questions, and explore other religious traditions. Each YAC'er develops his or her own "credo" and takes on a ministry in the life of the parish, all with the support of friends and the guidance of adult mentors. In the second year, youth are invited to prepare for Confirmation, if they choose, making an adult commitment of faith. YAC helps guide youth through the life choices that go with graduating from high school, practicing theological and spiritual tools that will last a lifetime. YAC goes on a mission trip at the end of their cycle, this year to Los Angeles in August, 2007. YAC meets monthly this year—on other Sundays, YAC youth are involved in their ministries in the parish..
