Project Open Hand

whiteLogoRedBG.GIFIn 1988, Project Open Hand began using our kitchen facilities to prepare meals for eight people with AIDS. They now occupy a new, much larger facility, where they prepare two meals a day, seven days a week for 700+ people. Project Open Hand has expanded its mission to serve individuals disabled with critical illnesses, other than AIDS, and also operates a food pantry for clients able to prepare meals themselves. St. Bartholomew's parishioners actively volunteer and Project Open Hand recently delivered its 4 millionth meal!
