The Amerson House:
A House of Anglican Studies, Spirituality and Hospitatlity

The former rectory, built in 1957, is a four-bedroom, three and one-half bath house located behind Saint Bartholomew's. This facility provides meeting space and study areas for seminarians and diocesan groups as well as others. The facility also houses our sexton.

Named the Anglican House of Studies in 1999, the house was dedicated to the Glory of God, in memory of Dr. Richard Amerson, and in thanksgiving for the Amerson Family on Sunday, October 24, 2004. It provides a peaceful place within the city for an all day meeting, a small group retreat weekend, a quiet retreat with individual spiritual direction, or just a peaceful place to spend some private time in prayer and reflection. Contact Trina Nkhazi in the church office, 404-634-3336, to find out how to rent the space.
