Youth Alcohol Policy - News from the Youth Committee:

Mindful of the temptations our youth may face concerning alcohol, the youth committee has formulated this policy: "No alcohol is permitted at youth or youth-sponsored gatherings. No youth or adult attending these gatherings will consume or be under the influence of alcohol. Hosts of youth events will be clearly informed of this policy in writing." To support this policy and our youth in this part of their journey to adulthood, the vestry unanimously resolved that "at all intergenerational events, non-alcoholic beverages be provided in appropriate proportions, that alcohol be kept in a separate and adult-monitored place, and that adults be encouraged to exercise discretion and moderation in their use." Adults who drink at these events are invited to see themselves as positive role models to our kids.

Mission Trip - June 22-29, 2003

The pilgrimage to England was a great success! Details were provided by the Reverend Beverley Elliott who traveled with them.  Photos have been provided by Audrey Jernigan. The trip was the culminating event for the two-year J2A portion of the Journey to Adulthood program. The pilgrims posed for this group photo as they left on Sunday, June 22. You can view the large photo by clicking on this thumbnail sketch
