Baptism of Caylin Poole daughter of Geoffrey and Shannon
Epiphany 2008 Baptisms

St. Bartholomew’s aims to encourage the growth and development of each individual child’s relationship with God. We believe that the church’s best resources for growth in the faith are participation in the worshiping community as we tell our stories and celebrate Eucharist. We want our children to feel like important parts of this community; that they will be loved, protected and encouraged to grow in the faith; that their voices will be listened to, their gifts accepted with gratitude.

We are blessed with conscientious, caring and creative teachers. We place them in teams so that old-timers and newcomers, men and women, adults and teens, and the various personalities are well-balanced in each class.

Contact Leigh Partington with questions, suggestions and for more information.

The children begin their worship with the adults at the 10:30 a.m. service, then follows the children's church leader to Wardens' Hall.  They return during the Offertory Hymn to join their families.

All youth in grades 6 through 12 are invited to serve as acolytes for the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist. Requirements for serving as an acolyte are a commitment to serve one Sunday every four weeks, the completion of basic acolyte training, and a commitment to serve with responsibility and consistency. To find out more, contact Ben Wells. Click here to view the current Acolyte Schedule.
