Sunday
Sabbath & Dinner
Weekly dinners and
monthly lunches are a fun way for members in their 20's or 30's to
join this growing young adult community. Home cooked dinner is
offered every Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m., with programs
alternating each week:
2nd & 4th Sundays: Dinner in the
Taylor Room at Church, with a lively Bible study or focus on a
spiritual practice & our now-famous theological conversations,
followed by Compline (a meditative, candlelight night prayer)
sung by the choir at 8:00 p.m.
In this season of Lent, our topic will be on the history, liturgy, and spiritual
practice of confession. The Book of Common Prayer
Reconciliation of a Penitent will be discussed and we will
read Martin Smith’s book, Reconciliation: Preparing for
Confession in the Episcopal Church.
The sacramental rite of reconciliation is often overlooked in
the Book of Common Prayer, and it is particularly interesting to
discuss its place during this season.
1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays: Dinner at Amerson House (at the far
end of the church parking lot), exploring the Christian practice
of Discernment & Group Spiritual Direction, with meditative
exercises & conversations designed to help each other seek &
find divine guidance and human support in the big and small
decisions of our lives. Followed by a contemplative,
Celtic-inspired night prayer at 8:30 p.m.

DIOCESAN EVENTS FOR
YOUNG ADULTS
For more than
a year, young adults from across the diocese have come
together to create a connection between our parishes, and the
result of this is DAYA, the Diocese of Atlanta Young Adults
ministry. Our primary mission is to enable people in their 20s
and 30s to grow in their faith and connect with their peers
through diocesan, local church, and independently sponsored
events. With Bishop Alexander's blessing, we are spreading the
message of this ministry to encourage greater participation in
the Church by young adults.

fellowship. Always the first Wednesday of each month,
the next INAM be held
on March 5
