June Vestry Highlights
-
The treasurer reports we are still behind on pledge income by about $38,000
this year. Everyone is encouraged to keep up their pledges, and consider
pre-paying pledges before leaving for vacations.
-
The newly formed Youth Council (made up of two youth from each J2A class,
advised by Arthur Villarreal and Dan Hagen) are coordinating a youth cookout
with the visiting youth group from Ascension in Dallas, Texas – Rev. Stephen
Shaver. And stay tuned for details on the Yard Sale coming October 4th.
-
The Guild of Ten Talents reports a successful Artists' Way class led by Denise
Aldridge and a "Seek and Ye Shall Find" photo safari led by John Whitt. Look
for the work of our hands and minds during the St. Bart's Day celebration at
the end of August.
- The Finance
Committee requests your help: We would appreciate any input from members with
knowledge of valuable items around the church, so that we can be sure to
include those in the inventory
Complete Vestry Minutes are available
in the Church Office for review.
